What's in our tour?
This Left Bank walking tour explores Paris’ famed Latin Quarter – the land of students for 1,000 years, and possibly the world’s single greatest source of artistic inspiration – from Picasso to Woody Allen and Jack Kerouac, and from Hemingway to Cyrano de Bergerac.
We meet at Notre Dame and jump across the river towards Sorbonne University, all the way to the Pantheon and the Luxembourg gardens.
We run into winding streets and smoke-filled (though not anymore!) cafés where Parisians grow up and come of age.
This Latin Quarter tour is an exploration of old Paris and modern-day Parisians all at once.
The tour may end at several spots near Pantheon, depending on the participants’ particular interests that day.
In order to see more on this tour, we do not spend time going inside each building.
