What's in our tour?
This Paris marais tour jumps back and forth between past and present, between aristocratic town-houses of 400 years ago, up-and-coming designer stores, and trendy spots where Parisians hang out, flirt, show themselves and even sometimes… shop.
We meet at #111 boulevard Beaumarchais, outside the store called MERCI. We quickly jump into a unique world.
We visit Place des Vosges, private gardens, and back alleys. This Marais walking tour focuses less on tourist landmarks and more on authentic details, private homes and sophisticated shops and art galleries.
Depending on guests’ particular interests that day, the tour may focus more on Jewish culture, old architecture, fashion – or a bit of everything.
The Paris Marais tour concludes by the shores of the river Seine, near metro stations Saint-Paul and Hotel-de-ville.
In order to see more on this tour, we do not spend time going inside each building.
